We offer a collaborative and energetic environment in a fast-paced, challenging, and evolving industry. We are continuously growing and seeking a full-time Journeyman Electrician. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will install, repair and maintain electrical systems in various buildings and structures. Key responsibilities will be reading blueprints, running wiring, installing fixtures, and troubleshooting electrical problems while adhering to strict safety protocols.       

• Perform skilled labor duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment 
• Operate equipment and hand tools necessary for the job (i.e. trencher, backhoe, bucket truck, etc.). Dig trenches or holes by hand for the installation of conduit or wire 
• Organize and handle all tools, materials, and supplies needed at the worksite and call-in material orders as needed
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools. 
• Use test meter to trace out short circuits in wiring 
• Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts and reassemble
• Work in tight crawl spaces and attics to complete job duties
• Work with, teach, and guide apprentices 
• Maintain and clean job sites, vans, and shop. Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment

• Ability to work well with others, including apprentices, general contractors, homeowners, inspectors and other trades on the job in a professional manner
• Must follow the National Electric Code (NEC) and comply with state and local building codes during installation
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing 
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting experience 
• Ability to work independently and as a team  

• Must have current South Dakota and Sioux Falls Journeyman license
